No. Guests can stay on the observation decks as long as they like during operating hours. On average, people spend about 45 minutes to an hour at Top of the Rock.
Yes. You’ll find restrooms on the mezzanine level of Top of the Rock before the elevator ride up. Restrooms are also available on the 66th floor observation deck.
No matter the weather, Top of the Rock is open 7 days a week, 365 days a year. We always notify visitors about weather and visibility conditions prior to entry. Top of the Rock does not refund tickets for bad weather. We will gladly reissue your ticket for a future date and time, however. Occasionally portions of the deck are closed for safety reasons due to bad weather.
No. Unfortunately the Christmas Tree and The Rink are not visible from Top of the Rock. They are easily accessed however after your visit to Top of the Rock, from the Rink level of Rockefeller Center upon exiting the elevators.
No. There are no private event spaces at Top of the Rock. Rockefeller Center however offers a wide range of private event space options, some with incredible views. Visit our Private Events page to learn more.
