The Top of the Rock experience is being reimagined and exciting new additions to the observation decks are on the horizon. While we are under construction (Beginning February 1, 2023), you can still expect the same fantastic views, but please note that access to specific areas may be limited while we work hard to bring new features to Top of the Rock.

The main entrance to Top of the Rock is located on 50th Street between Fifth and Sixth Avenues. Look for the big red carpet marking the entrance on the south side of the street.
There is a security checkpoint for all visitors. Be mindful of the belongings you choose to bring with you. No weapons of any kind. Food and beverages are also not permitted.
Purchase tickets directly on our website to make the most out of your time at Top of The Rock and to avoid hidden fees. Our timed ticketing guarantees immediate entry at your scheduled time and date and if your plans change or the weather affects your visit, we will gladly reissue your ticket. There are also sunset viewing options for visitors looking for a magic hour view of New York City.
There are three levels of NYC observation decks to explore at Top of the Rock. The first deck is on the 67th floor, and it includes a large indoor space where guests can relax as well as north and south-facing outdoor terraces. The second, featuring the Breezeway, is also outdoors. Located on the 70th floor open-air roof deck, the third observation deck is completely outdoors and free of glass enclosures for unobstructed, 360-degree views.
