Following the success of Rockefeller Center's summertime Kids Rock event, a new edition is coming up this Saturday, October 21, 10am–1pm. The free, all-ages festival is bringing a fall farm experience to the Plaza, with a pumpkin patch and pumpkin painting, along with live music, apple cider doughnuts, face painting and a photo booth.
While you're there, more kid-friendly fun awaits. The Rink has just opened for the season (with reservations available here), and Top of the Rock and the NBC Studio Tour (for children age six and up) are perennial hits with youngsters and grown-ups alike. Also check out our brunch guide, shop at the LEGO and Nintendo NYC flagships, and keep in mind sweet shops like Teuscher Chocolates and Magnolia Bakery for the finishing touch. See maps of Rockefeller Plaza and the underground Concourse for help navigating the complex.
