Private Events At The Rink

No. All ticket purchases are final sale and cannot be refunded or rescheduled.

The Rink at Rockefeller Center is an outdoor venue, so please dress accordingly for rain and snow. In the unlikely event The Rink closes due to inclement weather, you will be contacted by email and a refund will be automatically processed. You may check our website for updates.

The main entrance to The Rink is located on 49th street between 5th and 6th Avenue. There is also a secondary, ADA accessible, entrance, on The Rink level at the southeast side of the plaza through The Rink Shop.

If you have a Tree Photo ticket, whether you are skating or not, the entrance is on 49th street between 5th and 6th. If you have both a Tree Photo and skating ticket, please take your tree photo BEFORE skating.

We suggest you arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled reservation. Ticket holders may queue up in line for entry 10 minutes before their reservation time and will be welcomed into the venue at their scheduled ticket time.

Your time in the skate house is 60 minutes (90 minutes for the premium package ticket holders) from the arrival time on your ticket. Late entry is permitted within your reserved time, but the total skate time will be reduced for late arrivals. There is no guaranteed entry for late arrivals who have missed the majority of their reservation time. There are no ticket refunds or exchanges for late arrivals.

Purchase a ticket online or on-site for access to the venue and the ice. Anyone wishing to enter The Rink venue, skating or not, will need to purchase a ticket. Non-skating, chaperone tickets are available for purchase online or on-site.

For access to The Rink, use the Rockefeller Center parking garage located at 53 West 48th Street on the north side of 48th Street between 5th and 6th Avenues. Receive 10% off your parking reservation by entering promo code ROCKCENTER at checkout.

*Promo code is valid for up to 24 hours of parking and cannot be combined with any other offers. Not valid on early bird, event parking, or any other daily specials. Not valid on monthly parking. No in and out privileges. Expires 12/31/2024

The Rink will be open for the 2024-2025 Season on October 12, 2024. For any updates on opening and closing dates, and for information about events at The Rink throughout the season, join our newsletter, The Center.

Children under the age of 6 must be accompanied on the ice by a skating adult (18+). Children under the age of 13 must be supervised by an adult, skating or non-skating, while in the venue. Supervising adults that are not skating will still need to purchase a chaperone ticket. Staff are available to assist with skating tips to help new skaters, but are not available to skate one-on-one with children for an extended period of time. Due to safety concerns, children cannot be
carried while on the ice.

The Rink at Rockefeller Center is an ADA-compliant facility. Wheelchair users are welcome to participate on the ice with the assistance of a family member. Staff assistance is available if needed to enter and exit the ice rink. Electric wheelchairs must be switched to a manual setting while on the ice. The ADA entrance to The Rink is located just west of 5th Avenue on 49th Street, through the lobby of 610 5th Avenue and down the elevator to the rink level through The Rink Shop.

Only trained and licensed service or guide animals are permitted at The Rink at Rockefeller Center. They are not allowed on the ice and cannot be left alone at any time. If possible, please carry your service animal to protect them from being stepped on by skaters. To ensure the comfort and safety of all our guests, we kindly ask that service animals remain calm and well-behaved. If a service animal becomes disruptive, we may need to discuss alternative arrangements.

We offer penguin skate aids for a fee for young people that need an object to lean on to learn how to skate. They are a per person rental only offered to children 12 and younger and under 4 feet tall. The child using the aid will be given an additional sticker to be worn so that the rink staff can identify that it has been paid for and that the person has been approved to use it.

We offer skate sharpening service for $20 per pair of skates on a first come first serve basis. Guests looking to have their skates sharpened should arrive 20 minutes before their ticket time and let the staff know they’d like to have their skates sharpened so they’ll be let down with adequate time for the sharpening. Sharpening takes anywhere between 10-15 minutes (on average depending on the conditions of the skates) from the time the skate sharpening process has started. All sharpening MUST be completed BEFORE skating on the ice.
