German record champions, FC Bayern will bring their world class training philosophy to the Telemundo Fan Village at one of the world’s most iconic settings. In every 55-minute session, kids will dribble, dodge, and take on defenders one-on-one, sharpen their passing in fast-paced possession games, unleash shots on goal, race through skill courses, and finish with competitive small-sided matches, all guided by coaches from Munich.
The morning sessions will focus on 7-13 year olds while the afternoon/evening sessions will be for 14-18 year olds. Each session has limited spots, ensuring the quality of the clinic remains authentic to FC Bayern training. Since its foundation in 1900, the team has won 35 Bundesliga titles, 21 domestic cups as well as six UEFA Champions League titles, making it the most successful German team in history. Their influence stretches across the world stage: for 11 consecutive World Cups since 1982, at least one Bayern player has appeared in the final, and at the 2022 World Cup, FC Bayern had more players represented across national teams than any other club.
FC Bayern has had an office in New York since 2014, during that time the FC Bayern Pathway has been developed, offering young talent in the US a realistic and structured path to advanced grassroots and/or professional football. Each step creates additional opportunities to showcase potential on an international stage, develop in a targeted manner and pave the way for advancement in the sport. Rockefeller Center will serve as the Official NYNJ World Cup 26 x Telemundo Fan Village, bringing soccer-themed programming and fan experiences to the heart of Midtown. As part of the activation, The Rink will be transformed into The Pitch, a dedicated space for soccer programming and play. Learn more.
The Pitch is located on 49th Street between 5th and 6th Avenues. Please plan to arrive at least 30-45 minutes before your reserved time to allow for enough security screening time prior to entrance.
