Ice Skating

Ice skating at Rockefeller Center is one of New York’s winter rituals. The Rink has drawn skaters to the sunken plaza beneath the gilded Prometheus statue since 1936, and during the holiday season, the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree rises just behind it. Pair a skate with lunch on the Rink Level, an afternoon of shopping, and something sweet to finish, all within a few steps of the ice.
