    Art in Focus

    Rockefeller Center
    Nicaraguan-American artist Joel Gaitan is the first artist of 2023 to be featured in the acclaimed Art in Focus public art program, a multidisciplinary, site-specific program that brings contemporary art to Rockefeller Center. Visitors can enjoy Gaitan's murals which feature his signature use of bold and vibrant colors inside 10 Rockefeller Plaza, 30 Rockefeller Plaza, 50 Rockefeller Plaza, and the street and concourse levels of 45 Rockefeller Plaza.

    Artist Paula Crown’s two-part exhibition project #solotogether curated by Craig Drennen continues her ongoing artistic series and expands her interest human impulse to produce a mark in the world. #solotogether is an exploration of communication and accountability within the global collective consciousness; the sculptures endeavor to create connections, provoke pause, and offer a critical examination of how we shape the world and how in turn the world defines us.

    The Flag Project

    Rink
    Rockefeller Center is excited to announce its collaboration with City Harvest, the world’s first and the city’s largest food rescue organization dedicated to feeding New Yorkers in need, for its fourth annual The Flag Project. Each year, the crowd-sourced art exhibition invites the public to submit art in various mediums for consideration to be displayed on one of the 193 flagpoles that surround the iconic Plaza, with this year’s theme celebrating New York City’s global cuisine and international cultures.

    Hildegard Sonic Installation at Rockefeller Center

    This installation is part of the “Archive of Desire” festival by the Onassis Foundation. "Archive of Desire" is curated by composer Paola Prestini, Co-Founder and Artistic Director of National Sawdust, and under the creative direction of Afroditi Panagiotakou, Onassis Foundation’s Director of Culture.
