Art Sundae with Lisa Congdon
On November 13, Lisa Congdon will lead a children’s public art-making workshop in the lobby of 10 Rockefeller Plaza from 11am-1pm, coinciding with the arrival of the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree. Drawing from her holiday exhibition at Rockefeller Center, Congdon will guide children in collaging colorful shapes on large cut-outs of various iconic Rockefeller Center and New York City locations. Following the workshop, she will incorporate the children’s work into a large-scale winter installation.

Art Sundae is an ongoing public program launched by non-profit Art Production Fund and New York gallery Fort Gansevoort that is designed to build confidence in children through art-making. This free program offers children the opportunity to work with a contemporary artist to create a public art project. The program is designed to be accessible to all and highlight art’s positive impact across all communities.
