CELEBRATE THANKSGIVING at ROCK CENTER
This Thanksgiving, enjoy a four-course prix-fixe dinner at the celebrated French brasserie, Le Rock. The menu consists of bread service and a choice of appetizer, entree and dessert which includes Thanksgiving-inspired dishes with a French twist such as a turkey roulade, celeriac & chestnut velouté, sunchokes hazelnut za’atar, halibut au vin jaune, tarte au potiron (pumpkin seed streusel, tonka bean glace) and their famous profiterole made with buckwheat chocolate and caramel glace. Reservations are available on Thanksgiving Day from noon to 5:30pm (last reservation) and are pre-paid via Resy here.
5 Acres - the modern farm-to-table restaurant from chef Greg Baxtrom - is serving a special Thanksgiving Plate, which includes roasted heritage turkey, sour cream mashed potatoes, crispy Brussels sprouts, cranberry sauce and turkey menu. The full menu will also be available. Reservations via Resy.
Essential New York City bakeshop - Breads Bakery - will offer a variety of house-made Thanksgiving pies for pre-order. Selections include turkey day classics such as rich and silky spiced Pumpkin Pie; Apple Crumb Pie with granny smiths topped with almond streusel crumble; and, of course, a Babka Pie featuring Breads Bakery’s best of New York chocolate babka, as well as a savory Harvest Babka with roasted sweet potatoes, red onion and melty Gruyere cheese. For a Mexican twist on turkey day, Puya Tacos will offer a special Turkey Taco with its namesake puya chile pepper and cranberry sauce. The taco will be available Thanksgiving week from November 20 through November 24.
ENJOY THE HOLIDAYS at ROCK CENTER
For some sweet aprés skate, join Jupiter rinkside for a taste of their seasonal new dessert, the Monte Bianco. Served tableside, this alpine sundae includes squiggles of sweetened chestnut cream, candied chestnuts, a mound of whipped cream, dusting of shaved chocolate and topped with a hearty drizzle of tempered chocolate sauce. Light up the most wonderful night of the year at Rock Center at Lodi. Ignacio Mattos’ Art Deco aperitivo bar celebrates the lighting of the iconic Rockefeller Center Christmas tree on November 29 with drinks, canapés and sightlines of the lighting hosted by Kelly Clarkson. Tickets via Resy.
New Year's Eve: New Year's Eve (At the Pebble) Music & Passion are always in Fashion, but especially on New Years Eve. Calling all showgirls: One night only, Pebble Bar transforms into a Copa era Discotheque, where tropical vibes and tropical drinks meet disco, dancing, and diamonds. This holiday season, Rockefeller Center is introducing La Maison du Chocolat as a new must-try. La Maison du Chocolat will be serving up original hot chocolate and an assortment of holiday treats, including the exclusive ganaches and macarons from La Maison du Chocolat’s customized legendary Citroen chocolate Van - the perfect treat while visiting the ice skating rink and the iconic holiday tree at Rockefeller Center. The chocolate van is open daily till midnight through February 14.
The Jimmy Fallon-endorsed Italian sandwich shop celebrates the holiday season the Il Grato sandwich made with porchetta, aged-white cheddar, arugula, toasted sage pesto and cranberry jam. The specialty shop also offers prepared charcuterie boards and holiday catering packages featuring caprese and antipasto skewers, salumi & formaggi boards and beer & wine.
This season, Fieldtrip serves a seasonal flavor of their deliciously vegan rice cream soft serve in partnership with Tony’s Chocolonely’s 100% exploitation free chocolate.
Puya Tacos celebrate the holidays all-December-long with a chicken mole taco éspecial and Mexican hot chocolate.
