iNDIEPLAZA at Rockefeller Center
Rough Trade and Rockefeller Center, in partnership with Dr. Martens, introduce the second-annual iNDIEPLAZA featuring a thoughtfully curated lineup of artists, a band merchandise market, hands-on workshops, family and kids programming, food and beverage, and more. Nation of Language will headline in advance of their highly anticipated third album Strange Disciple. Indieplaza will also spotlight some of the most buzzy, up-and-coming artists in music today including Shoegaze Punks; Narrow Head; indie rock & pop duo, Video Age; Cali garage rockers, Death Valley Girls; Long Island hardcore band, Crime In Stereo; Electronic pop chameleon, DEBBY FRIDAY, and many more.
The indieplaza festival will return to 30 Rockefeller Plaza for the full-day celebration on Saturday, September 9th beginning at 12:00pm.
By way of celebrating this year’s indieplaza partnership, a strictly limited edition 'Rough Trade x Dr. Martens' tote will be available from all Dr. Martens stores in New York City September 9 and 10 - free to anyone who displays their indieplaza RSVP ticket available from roughtrade.com, and our ticketing partner, DICE.
Alongside the main stage on Center Plaza, MerchFriends, a coalition of merchandise makers working to build a sustainable, independent music merch ecosystem, will lead a market, featuring limited-edition products from Hello Merch, plus Rough Trade vinyl bins loaded with goodies.
Indieplaza will also feature family and kids programming from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM on Center Plaza, featuring musical performances, arts and crafts and more for kids of all ages to enjoy.
