Johyun Gallery and Rockefeller Center present Origin, Emergence, Return. The exhibition will feature three leading Korean artists: Park Seo Bo, Lee Bae, and Jin Meyerson. From June 8th to July 26th over 70 works will be featured at the Rink Level Gallery, exploring three generations of Korean art from the 20th century to the present.

Extending beyond the gallery space, the exhibition will also showcase Lee Bae’s 26-foot site-specific sculpture of stacked charcoals at the Channel Gardens, marking the first time a Korean artist will present in the space.

Alongside Origin, Emergence, Return, Johyun Gallery will present three recent paintings by the Korean-German artist Jongsuk Yoon in the lobby of 1230 Avenue of the Americas. Inspired by the natural landscapes of Korea and influenced by the Expressionist movement, cave art and Asian ink paintings.

The exhibition is part of Rockefeller Center’s celebration of Korean culture which will be held this July and will include Korean art, fashion, music, and gastronomy.
