Move! at Rockefeller Center continues with a free hip hop workshop presented as part of Rockefeller Center’s collaboration with Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater.
Legendary hip hop artist and dance instructor TweetBoogie gets you on beat in this fun and energetic class. All ages and experience levels are welcome to join in the fun!
This free, one-hour guided dance session takes place from 11 AM to 12 PM on the Plaza at Rockefeller Center. Attendance is free, but RSVP is required.
Always representing the Boogie Down Bronx, TweetBoogie “Tweetie” is devoted to the street styles of hip hop. She has worked with artists including Jay-Z, LL Cool J, Shakira, Kanye West, Jasmine Sullivan, and Janet Jackson. She also takes great pride in her work within the underground dance community, having been a guest artist and performer for Red Bull and Red Bull Connect, and worked as a teaching artist and judge for the Juste Debout 2019 Global Tour, one of the biggest international underground dance battles.
