Spring Sunday
This will be a Sunday fun day unlike any other. Spring Sunday, usually an in-person event with a full slate of events at Rockefeller Center, is streaming online this year. Our virtual Spring Sunday offers adults and kids the chance to enjoy and participate in a day of free music, live performances, and entertaining activities including puppet shows, art workshops, and more. And you can enjoy it all from the comfort of your own home.

Rock and Roll Playhouse performs a program for the entire family to sing along and dance to from Rockefeller Center’s iconic Rainbow Room. They will also show families how to make a paper spring flower.
Puppetsburg Pandemic Pet
Learn about adopting pets during quarantine. Characters from Puppetsburg, including a special appearance from Rocky the Owl, talk about bringing home a furry forever friend. The puppets also show you how to make a puppet with materials found at home.
Found Objects PUPPETS: Presented by Puppetsburg and Rockefeller Center
See the paper towel rolls, tea boxes, and socks lying around your house with new eyes as Puppetsburg founder Sarah Todes guides you and your munchkin through a found objects puppet-making experience! All you need is scissors, glue or tape, a workspace that is okay to get a little messy sometimes!
Brooklyn Robot Foundry: DIY Kitchen Car
Create a KitchenCar with the Brooklyn Robot Foundry. With a parent’s help and using common kitchen items like a sponge, carrot, straw, chopsticks, lettuce, tape, scissors, and a knife, you’ll have a great time playing with your food.
