Workers in the complex can now get emergency day care, 15-minute meal delivery and visits from manicurists and hairstylists. "We want to fundamentally change the expectation that people have from their office buildings," said Rob Speyer, chief executive of family controlled Tishman Speyer.

    Even as this year’s Rockefeller Center Christmas tree twinkles away for millions of delighted visitors, last year’s tree is still bringing joy — as the beams and flooring for two Habitat for Humanity homes in upstate New York. The trees are donated to Habitat for Humanity by Tishman Speyer, the owner and manager of Rockefeller Center. Volunteers from Tishman Speyer had joined Habitat in helping to frame the walls with the 2015 tree’s lumber.
