2019 Spring Sunday

April 14, 2019

Join us on the plaza this Sunday from 1-4pm for a free afternoon of entertainment and artmaking with current artist-in-residence Hein Koh for “Art Sundae”, live musical performances by Grammy award winner Dan Zanes + Claudia Eliaza, book readings from Brandon Stosuy author of “We are Music” and “Music Is”, and a magic show from FAO Schwarz with appearances from the Toy Soldiers and FAO Schwarz mascots Patrick and Penelope! Plus, face-painting, a photo booth, and crafting workshops hosted by Paper Source, Bluprint, and The Shop at NBC Studios! All artwork created during Hein Koh’s “The Garden of Just Delightful” workshop will be on display at the Rockefeller Center concourse ticket booth in the following weeks.

Attendees can purchase delicious offerings from Sugarfina, Jacques Torres, Harry’s Italian Pizza, Ben & Jerry’s, and others located at Rockefeller Center.

The program is in partnership with the Art Production Fund as part of ‘Art in Focus’ to help contemporary artists reach new audiences and expand awareness through art. Hein Koh is a distinguished artist whose public exhibition “Braving the Cold,” a collection of colorful and surrealist digital drawings and sculptures, is currently on display at Rockefeller Center as the latest installation of ‘Art in Focus.’

The event is free and open to the public. Reservations are not required.
