Rockefeller Center Sings

A lot has changed this year, but one thing that has always remained is the vibrant energy, resiliency and extraordinary strength of the incredible people that call NYC home. As a demonstration of this strength and in support of the Black Lives Matter movement, these New Yorkers gathered together online to make their voices heard by singing in unity and solidarity.

This inclusive workshop, led by vocalist Nilusha Dassenaike, began weekly virtual rehearsals in April 2020 in correlation with World Voice Day. Choir members were invited to connect with their voice, mind, body and breath, and to experience the power of group singing – online!
Rockefeller Center Sings is a choir made up of local New Yorkers and members of ZO, Tishman Speyer’s workplace amenity program. Interested in joining? Email for more info and sign up for the Rock List for updates.
Enjoy the final virtual performance here.
