How do I gain admission to The Rink?Purchase a ticket online or on-site for access to the venue and the ice. One non-paying adult supervisor is permitted inside the venue, but not on the ice, for children between the ages of 6-12 years old. Children under the age of 6 must be accompanied on the ice by a paying adult.

What is your children’s skating policy?Children under the age of 6 must be accompanied on the ice by an adult. Children under the age of 13 must be supervised by a non-skating adult.

Is the Rink wheelchair accessible?The Rink at Rockefeller Center is an ADA-compliant facility. Wheelchair users are welcome to participate on the ice and staff assistance is available if needed. The entrance to The Rink is located just west of 5th Avenue on 50th Streets, through the lobby of 620 5th Avenue and down the elevator to the concourse level.

Does The Rink offer skate aids?We offer penguin skate aids for a fee for young people that need an object to lean on to learn how to skate. They are a per person rental only offered to children 12 and younger and under 4 feet tall. The child using the aid will be given an additional sticker to be worn so that the rink staff can identify that it has been paid for and that the person has been approved to use it.

Is skate sharpening offered at The Rink?We offer skate sharpening service for $20 per pair of skates on a first come first serve basis. Guests looking to have their skates sharpened should arrive 20 minutes before their ticket time and let the staff know they’d like to have their skates sharpened so they’ll be let down with adequate time for the sharpening. Sharpening takes anywhere between 10-15 minutes (on average depending on the conditions of the skates) from the time the skate sharpening process has started. All sharpening MUST be completed BEFORE skating on the ice.
