Need a pick-me-up? Hombre Taco has arrived at Rockefeller Center!
At the launch party Monday night, owner Homer Murray (who also owns 21 Greenpoint) served tacos to guests, joined by dad Bill outside in the Rink. See photos of the space, the event and the food in the slideshow above.
Hombre Taco, set on the Rink Level, offers a simple Mexican menu of tacos, rice bowls and salad bowls to go. You choose the protein (pork with pineapple, marinated short rib, chicken tinga, vegetarian, or a rotating special) and toppings such as corn, jalapeño and "broccomole."
Drinks like Mexican Coke, Jarritos and Topo Chico add a refreshing touch to the meal, and the eatery's motto ("sé amable," or "be kind") is a sweet reminder too.
Hombre Taco is open daily for lunch and afternoon bites, 11am–5pm, on the Rink Level of 30 Rock. Orders can be placed online.
